I thought Ilka Chase was kind of attractive. Also had a friendly, humorous, self deprecating personality. Wish she'd done more movies.

And she perfectly fit the role. Lisa was the central character in the first two books of the Vale series (NV was the third, but only one to be filmed) and that's exactly how she is in the books. She's loving and well-meaning but imperfect and knows it.

She's absolutely charming! I read a book of hers when I was a kid and had no idea she was an actress until later.
