How about a DVD?

Probably pointless to ask for a DVD on this board considering the MGM people won't read this or care, but it's long past-due to release this classic on DVD.

If I had to pick 20 movies that HAD to be on DVD - this would be one of them. One of my favorite movies. It's going to be on TCM tonight and I got a DVD recorder for Christmas. Hmmmmmmm!

I totally agree with you because it is such a great movie. Not to mention that it gave a great morale boost to the US prople in 1941 when it was released. However, the thoughts on patriotism and obligations are timeless and should be made available for the public to purchase--not just wait for it to be shown on TCM. Maybe eventually someone important will read our comments and it Sgt York will then be released on DVD. [email protected]

Write to Warner Brothers who own the rights to Sergeant York and ask them as I have. Maybe you will get a different answer than that they have no intention or plan to release Sergeant York on DVD any time soon. What a shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
