Walter Brennan dual roles?

I meant to check this out again but deleted the movie from the DVR already. In the scene in the general store when the salesman is trying to sell the bloomers, the Pastor (played by Walter Brennan) is behind the counter refusing to buy the bloomers. In the same scene a guy I swear is also Walter Brennan, looking more like Brennan did in most of his roles, with the 3 day beard, etc., says a few words in the store then you never see him again.

Was this Walter Brennan as well? He looks so different as the Pastor with the fake eyebrows and all that I was wondering if the director threw him a bone and let him have a quick speaking part more like what Brennan was accustomed to acting back then.

No, he wasn't playing dual roles. Pastor Pile also ran that general store. The guy you saw was not Brennan.
