We have another thread about this film which starts with a post assuring us that it's "comepletely (sic) accurate in very way", though I do wonder how anyone can be so categoric. I don't think anyone here has yet referred to this critical research between the wars by the Germans:

good point: there's absolutely no reason to question a single thing the german military published in the mid-to-late 1930's.
