Is it hard to understand what they are saying?

I have the movie here and plan to watch it this weekend. My husband is kind of hard of hearing. Well, will he have a problem?

reply

He shouldn't, as all the character speak very clearly. I think you've picked a great movie to watch!

I found that on the DVD, I had a bit of problem hearing the narrator over the music in the background. But that's not the first time that's happened with a restored film.

reply

...um...turn up the volume....

reply

I watched it last night on DVD and put on the sub-titles. Even though they speak very clearly, there are some sentences which just do not make sense. Even with the sub-titles on and everything.

reply

I understood what they were saying

Wonderful to see another Maureen O'Hara fan. She was one of the most beautiful brides ever seen in movies in not just one but two films (HGWMV and The Quiet Man) and was the funniest mom ever in The Lonely Guy (and boy, did she look great, too).

Her autobiography is the first book that I ever started to reread as soon as I finished it.
