Angharad - Amy Adams
Mr. Gruffydd - Ioan Gruffudd
Huw - there is no one like Roddy McDowell but maybe Freddie Highmore although by now he might be too old
Noble as your intentions may be, but imho, this is one movie where it's best to leave well enough alone. A classic like this needs no remake, and to even attempt to do one is for me tantamount to sacrilege.

Surely someone has thought of casting the lovely Eva Myles in a remake, considering that she is actually Welsh?
somethings are best left alone the very mention of replacing the breathtaking maureen o hara is like an act of sacrilege. winslet is far too old o'hara was barely 21 when she made her angharad immortal
