A Misnomer
This movie, written by the popular aviation writer Frank Wead, is
inappropriately titled. It has nothing to do with a "dive bomber" not even
in the slightest. It would have more aptly named, "Flight Surgeon." No doubt
Wead did not give it its title but perhaps it was dreamed up by a studio promotion person. In any event, a good picture and an unusual one for the legendary Errol Flynn.
