Any new adaptation?

Has there been any talk of remaking this movie? Either modern or set in the 40s? I'd love to see a new take on it (not that I didn't love the Hitchcock version, but I'd like one with the TRUE ending).

I posted a bit earlier, DreamWorks has a remake in the works that they say will be more faithful to the novel than the Hitchcock version. They've announced the screenwriter so I guess it's a done-deal.

The writer and director have been announced along with the production team. No casting news or release date yet.
