I LOVE STEVE WILKOS
read the book, heard about the musical (which was in another country) and looked up the film later
shareIt's one of the "1001 Movies You Must Watch Before You Die", so I thought, "well, I ain't dead yet, so I better watch it. LOL. It's a very good flick, and I thought that Joan Fontaine was quite lovely. I kept thinking of Cloris Leachman's housemaid Frau Blucker from Young Frankenstein with regards to the Mrs. Danver character
shareI'm a Hitchcock fan, and this was one of his movies I'd never seen. At Christmas I ended up getting a bunch of them, including Rebecca. I waited until now, in February, to watch it, but I was very impressed.

I saw the version with Jeremy Brett on PBS, and immediately bought the book. After VCRs came out, I recorded it. It was also one of the first Videocassettes that I purchased.
"I do hope he won't upset Henry.."
I read the book the summer between my 8th grade and Freshman year. We had to choose three books to read for the upcoming year. This was one of my choices.
I loved the book.
I, then, saw the movie on AMC not too long after (pre-commercial days) and loved it, too.
Credo ergo sum
I think I was watching a Hitchcock marathon on AMC or TMC or one of those channels and it was on when I started the marathon. I came in on the middle and knew I had to watch the beginning. It was amazing!
shareThis movie is on IMDB top 250. One of my goals is to watch all movies in IMDB top 250.

Applied Science? All science is applied. Eventually.
Saw the movie on late-night tv in the '60s. Read the book in the '90s.
shareIn high school English class we were assigned to read a book and compare it to the movie version. I chose Rebecca because I had read Du Maurier's short story The Birds and had seen Hitch's The Birds, so I figured I would like it. The book is one of my favorites and so is the movie.
