No big disagreements. Somewhat surprised Wuthering Heights was only #5. I would have expected it to be a couple of places higher, but hard to dispute the top four.

Another excellent career. No surprise of course.

Wuthering Heights? Let me see... nope I didn't fudge the scores. Blame IMDB voters for not liking it more, if they gave it a more respectable score it might have been sitting at the top of this chart. 7.7 is embarrassing for such a classic.

Okay I confess I did give Spartacus a slight boost [John gasps], hey come on John it's a great movie and a lot more watchable than Wuthering Heights. :)

Rebecca was his peak, although he was of course brilliant in his Shakespeare adaptations (Richard III being my favourite of those).

I wasn't all that impressed with Wuthering Heights when I saw it many years ago. Merle Oberon seemed hopelessly miscast - Olivier was the best thing about it, though.
