'Bessie'?? or 'Jack'??
...as in George's horse - was it a male horse, as Dinah insisted, or a female horse?
Clearly, I'm not expert on equine anatomy but I didn't see any "wedding tackle" on old "Jack" the horse.
It's hard to get a good angle, but when Eddie leads the horse up, I think I can see that he's male.
What really ticks me off about the horses scene is that George, an obviously inexperienced rider, is given a horse bitted with a Pelham bit which, in inexperienced hands, can be very harsh on a horse's mouth. Tracy's horse has a snaffle--a much better bit for a beginning rider as it will do less damage if incorrectly used.
