Could you please explain to me how after this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQC2guz8oGc, she ends up with Cary Grant?? I mean, it makes no sense. They were so similar and understood each other from the beginning. And did they have chemistry!

As similar as they appeared to be, they really weren’t that similar at all when it gets down to brass tacks. (Champagne does wonders, but not the sort of miracles you’re thinking of.)

I agree with you. I am a big Cary grant fan, but in this film I thought james Stewart was much nicer, and i would have liked him and Hepburn to end up together.
