shareYes, but not as a movie, a Broadway show
shareThere are two successful musicals set during Nazi Germany times - Cabaret and The Sound of Music. In these two, there are potential scenes for singing and dancing.
I don't see it in The Mortal Storm.
The storyline is also too depressing for a musical even though depressing storylines didn't hamper Fiddler on the Roof and The Color Purple.

God, I hope you're being sarcastic! Ugh!!!
shareSure, but with a twist: every time a character begins a song other than the Horst Wessel song, the Nazis instantly shoot him or her.

There are some I actually like. The Sound of music, for instance, is one of my favorite movies. As a child I never paid much attention to the plot. I just related to the kids and loved singing along with the songs.
