Apache riding saddled horses?

Apache riding saddled horses? is this accurate?

Many horses were stolen by the Apache, and some of those would have had saddles on them. Comanches made saddles for their horses, and some of those were modeled on the vaquero saddles that they took from their victims. It isn't a deal breaker at all for the Indian's horses to have saddles on them.

Absolutely accurate. Many forget that it was the Spanish that reintroduced the horse to the America's in the 16th century. Prior to that it was some 8,000 year since the last horse like animal was on the continent. So native people use of horses was learned through the encroaching Europeans, so no doubt saddles were used.

More accurate perhaps than later movies showing Indians riding horses with the blankets OVER the saddles!
