You can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead.

Yes he was sexy!!!!!

Oh yes, the first time he appeared on screen at the 16th minute of the movie, I was so surprised how hot he was in that scene when he shouted "HOLD IT!" holding a gun in one hand and a saddle in another hand. I had to rewind for 10 times to watch this scene all over again. Can't believe how sexy he was when during his early 30's.

From the very moment we were born, we were dying. So why sweat the small stuff?

reply

Well, he did become the biggest star in film history... if he only appealed to men that wouldn't have been the case. :)

That bit has always been my favourite JW moment. I have to confess having watched the film so many times, I no longer bother to watch it from the beginning but start watching it from that point. I have for many years tried to find a poster of that point but have not managed to do so.

ive always found JW incredibly sexy...just the way he walks makes me go crazy.
i really liked the part in the film when they're all in the stage and theres a sand storm, Dallas is looking at Ringo but he has his head down protecting himself from the sand with his hat and all of a sudden he starts to look up...*sigh* he's so hot...

Oh yes!! He takes my breath away ;)
And boy, can he give a kiss!! Just watch him in any era of his career! He knows what he's doing ;) Breathtaking.... ;)

Yes, he was very good looking, especially in his early films. I believe it was critic Richard Schickel who said that Wayne wasn't as handsome as Gable or Grant, but that he seemed like someone we could know personally, and this made him very appealing.
