Dallas tells Ringo: "Go to the kitchen and get hot water, lots of hot water!"

Ringo asks: "Hey Chris, donde es la cochina?"

cochina? as in pig? I don't know why he asked that. Perhaps the writers assumed most of the audience didn't speak spanish so they just kind of threw it in there? Perhaps he meant to say "donde es la cantina?" Maybe "donde es la cocina?" "Where is the kitchen?"

John Wayne definitely knew Spanish -- he had a Mexican wife and lived in Mexico much of the time between films.

I just finished watching "Stagecoach" and Ringo clearly says: "Hey, Chris. Donde la cocina"? Its playing "On Demand" for free until the 28th.

"I told you a million times not to talk to me when I'm doing my lashes"!

Should have been "donde esta la cocina?" But let's remember he was playing a
non-Hispanic cowboy whose Spanish would have been far from perfect.
