'Goofs' people have no lives
Goof: "Lee Irving fires his six shooter eight times without reloading." OK, gee that was so important for me to know. But.....so what?

shareIf you knew your guns, you'd also know there was such a thing as a 9 shot revolver as well in those days. We had one left to us by our great-grandfather who rode the range in South Dakota.
It's smaller caliber, but if someone was counting shots, they got a surprise, and that's why he liked it.

Yep, The LeMat "grapeshot revolver fired 9 .40 caliber bullets, and one 20 bore charge of shot. Hell of a weapon.
"It ain't dying I'm talking about, it's LIVING!"
Captain Augustus McCrae
Counting spent shots could have been very important to someone in a real situation.
shareOK but in general goofs are small continuity errors.
You know the guys who made these movies never anticipated that we would be rewinding and freeze-framing and fast-forwarding to catch their inconsistencies.
Sometimes there are big errors but usually there aren't and I wish the error finders would confine themselves to pointing out the big ones.
It just doesn't matter. Spotting goofs is fun. Relax.
