Not one kiss the entire movie...?

For a romantic comedy that is pretty strange, even for the 1930's.

No, there isn't a single kiss in the movie (although Cary Grant does take Katherine Hepburn in his arms at the climax).

But I wouldn't classify Bringing Up Baby as a romantic comedy - it's a screwball comedy, and one of the best of its kind.

I can't give you anything but love, baby...

Totally. I always thought that this movie was what Sandra Bullock had in mind when she was promoting Miss Congeniality as a classic screwball comedy.

a lot of that had to to with the production code, as the film took place in pretty much the strictest times in hollywood (for censorship means)

EDIT; sorry my comment doesnt make complete sense as i had not seen the film, and it wasn't really about them being romantic, however i do know that not much was allowed in terms of 'physical' romance and what not at the time
