I just finished watching this again, and I couldn't agree with you more. There are posts on this board talking about how annoying her character is, but I can't help feeling attracted to her. I'd forgotten how hot she was in her youth.

shareThe character is extremely pretty to look at (and would have been more so if the Hays Office hadn't been a bunch of prudes) but that's her only good quality. Beauty can mask evil, as with Cersei Lannister, although that's not a fair analogy because Susan, annoying as she is, doesn't commit war crimes like Cersei does. Maybe it's a testament to Hepburn's acting ability that she can create a character that we can hate but still want to sleep with.
