Don´t you think she wears sensational clothes? She looks so pretty and modern, especially with the hat and coat she is wearing when they drive to connecticut. I also likes very much the dark one of the final scene. In other movies of the 1930's clothes look so extravagant, or old-fashioned, but not in this one.

1930s comedies always had the most fabulous hats. 30s and 40s hats were often pretty out there. I love the veiled contraption at the end especially! Hepburn almost always wear pointy, elfin looking hats in her films of the time. So cute!

I adore B&W films, but when I see the beautiful clothes they were wearing, I long to know what colors they were!!!

I especially liked the dress she wore during the nightclub scene. And my daughter & I both want the robe Carey Grant borrows when his clothes are missing!

Those black suede sandals are my favorite. I wish I could find them today. Besides, Baby, she wore them in Holiday, and one other movie I can't think of right now.

I agree, the designers were awesome in that decade. Could anyone figure out what that dealie on Susan's head in the hotel lobby scene was?

I agree her clothes are fabulous. Hepburn made wearing well tailored trousers a thing. But, my one question. WHAT THE HELL is that thing on her hair when she rips her dress? I can't quite figure it out.

That had me scratching my head as well. I guess it's some sort of accessory designed like a "fascinator", but I can't recall seeing one like that before...ever.

BTW I loved their solution to the ripping of the seat of her evening gown. Must have had the Hays Code regulators thinking twice.
