Do you think Disney will do a live-action remake?
As it has done, and is doing, with many of its later animated features.
Last Seen Films: Rogue One - 9/10, Silence - 10/10, La La Land - 10/10

As a matter of fact, yes. As of November, a remake is currently in development, called "Rose Red". Of course, it won't be a direct remake. In addition to the story we all know and love, it'll involve Snow White's sister, Rose Red, teaming up with the dwarfs to break the sleeping curse the poisoned apple put on Snow White. That's all the details I have as of right now, just so you know.
shareA live action version is now in pre production. It's planned to keep the same title as this 1937 original and has a release date of 2022 at the moment.
It will be partly filmed in British Columbia and partly in Germany. Some German language will be used.
Snow White will be facing the truth about her mother's death which occurred when Snow White was very young. A snow storm will be involved. So the May-time feel that this 1937 film has may be lost altogether. It looks like she will be stalked by the Evil Queen herself at the time she seeks shelter with the dwarfs. Also Snow White's long gown will go and a shorter cloak will reveal bare legs.

Yes, when I think of the character in Snow White, I think of Rachel Zegler.

Rachel Zegler offers a heartfelt response to the Snow White casting backlash and expresses her excitement to become a Latina princess.
Shouldn't they set it in Latin America then?
shareNo, I think they would never dare one of those godawful cashgrabs on the movie that started it all...
shareI feel like this one is pointless to remake considering the successful TV series Once Upon a Time that had the evil queen from this movie as an ongoing main antagonist through out the series. It also had the dwarfs for several episodes as well.
