No need for money; women freely shared
Well, there was no money used within their society but it was certainly fortunate that gold was so abundant and close to the surface. Without it, they wouldn't have been able to obtain the art and knowledge that they valued so highly and that was key to their mission.
Men were so kind to one another as to surrender their woman if another man coveted her. Did the women have any say in the matter, one wonders.
