I watched this again last night on tcm, and enjoyed it. For some reason, I thought it ended with Cary Grant coming downstairs in a Santa Suit. Can anyone help me with the name of the movie I am thinking? It might not even
be a cary grant movie. but I thought it had to do with an almost-divorced couple getting back together at a cabin in the woods. thanks.
It's another Cary Grant-Irene Dunne movie. The film is My Favorite Wife. The ending somewhat parallels The Awful Truth.

shareif I remember the comments from Robert Osborne before a showing of "My Favorite Wife", they intentionally used the same cabin in that movie as an inside joke referring to this movie.... but the confusion is understandable.... I watched "My Favorite Wife" yesterday, and I was expecting the German Cukoo clock bit at the end, when, of course, it's in this movie....
