Just saw this... (spoilers)

...and some things had me totally in hysterics. Especially the reaction to Cary's date doing the number at the club. Hilarious!

But that was totally topped when Irene reprises the song playing Cary's sister for a high class family. That was so embarrasing I had to hide my eyes. The looks were priceless!!!

This was brilliant comedy!

This is a very fun movie! I saw it long ago, but had forgotten what it was called, or who was in it. I finally described the scene I could remember, the man and woman in the German cuckoo clock, and somebody on the I Need to Know board itentified it for me.....Just in time for me to see it on TCM!

I just finished watching it again. What a wonderful movie!

i quite agree badwebdiver. everyone seemed quite scandalised upon seeing jerry's date's skirt blowing up whilst she sang and it was hilarious! and as embarassing as lucy's performance of the same song was, i had a jolly good laugh!

cheers.

One of my favorite scenes was when Cary Grant was watching Irene Dunne and Ralph Bellamy dance. I think Grant makes a great audience surrogate in scenes like that - only in this scene I felt more empathy for Dunne than Grant does!
