What’s the real run time of The Awful Truth – sometimes I read 90 min, 94 min or 87 min? (above 91 min)
By the way I have a 87 min version. Maybe it sounds crazy but there are only three Irene/Cary movies and I can’t stand to miss one bit.
What have they cut in my version – does anybody know?
It's probably something as simple as some measure the length of a movie from the point the film starts (after the opening credits & title) until the film ends (without the closing credits), and others go by the run-time of the film, including credits, titles and so forth.
shareThe official running time is 92 minutes. I don't think there's any cut versions. If yours runs 87 minutes it just might be "speeded up" slightly. It's done so you won't notice but it makes the film run a few minutes shorter. They've been doing that for years on TV.
