Near the beginning of the film there's a girl in a convertible that sees Janet Gaynor looking at her and she smiles and pours something out of a cup onto the ground. The girl is Rita Hayworth.

shareActually, Rita is not in this film. The girl may look like her but Rita was not doing bits in 1936, she was usually billed albeit in "B" movies at the time. The movie does though have future First Lady Pat Nixon in a small role or extra in it but I wouldn't know her given have never seen a picture of her before the 1960's.
