One wicked burn after another

Believe it or not, the wife and I just now saw this film for the first time. We were quite simply overwhelmed.

As the credits rolled we were still laughing over all the wicked burns Longfellow Deeds dished out during the story. The cynical writers in the restaurant, the opera board...just *great* stuff.

During the trial when he wouldn't defend himself, we knew it was coming! And oh boy, it did NOT disappoint! "Him, he's a nose twitcher...and her, she's a knuckle cracker."

And the two elderly ladies in the courtroom were a scream. I loved all the whispers back and forth before answering any questions! Pixilated....haha!

A repeat viewing is absolutely warranted.

A tremendously moving piece of work that speaks volumes. Just wonderful.
