Mr. Chaplin would say..

Liberty of thoughts makes a man free, but technology that get on the way will make him a slave.
I think he will like some modern advantages, and will hate to the soul, lots of crap you can watch on tv.
He liked simple things, understandable by anyone, like he's movies, no language or cultural barriers.
He was kind of weird, in some aspects, all genius are, but will love dvd, and digital suports, no digital fx, and the freedom of internet, even some winds are blowing towards darkness.(cutting the wings)

"and if you want it, you will have to work hard to get it. "

I beg to differ...

In this world, in this counrty and culture, everything in life is free. Bad credit? In debt? You can still buy a car (never mind you don't need that Hummer) and a house (even though you don't have enough people in your family to justify buying that castle).

Canis or Equus?

I'm sure he hated lots of crap that you could see at the movies, theatres, art galleries, read in books and listen to on radio.

"no digital fx"
Just because it's made in a computer does not make it any less vaild than an effect made from a trick prop, an in camera technique, or in an optical printer.
