shareIt's a nonsense song. Not German but a made-up language to sound somewhat European. I don't think the song has a name.
Tony Soprano: Everything turns to sh-t.
do u have any idea of what it MIGHT be?
shareAccording to the soundtrack listing, the melody is from a French song called "Je cherche après Titine". (I am looking for Titine)
Tony Soprano: Everything turns to sh-t.
OH! OK! So it's like part of the whole song? huh?
shareYes I believe so. The DVD has the "lyrics" for karoke and it has an extra verse that Chaplin filmed but was cut out of the movie.
Tony Soprano: Everything turns to sh-t.
I have something called Lime Wire, (idk, u might have it) and what should i look up? the title or charlie chaplin? if charlie chaplin, what should i look for next to his name?
shareI can only guess that you could try "Charlie Chaplin Modern Times" or "Chaplin Modern Times".
Tony Soprano: Everything turns to sh-t.
kk thnx, i'll try that
shareCharabia is one name it is called. It's also called the nonsense song often.
shareIt's fake language but it sounds like bastard of Italian and Frensh.
shareYep exactly. I carefully listened to it and I came to the conclusion that Charlie might have used a mix of about 50% French, 30% Italian and 20% German to make it sound like "from the old country" for Americans during the 1930s - but without any pinpointing. Pure genius as always.
shareThat song is hilarious !.There is a clip of it on youtube.
