Imagine an upgrade of the original movie, where a "little man" (maybe of the Baby Boomer generation) rebels against Facebook, Twitter, and other hi-tec gadgetry that rob people of their privacy and their identities.
The girl would get a gig in a strip club (because every modern movie has naked women in it). Imagine the antics that can happen in a strip club. Then, when they were being chased by the cops who are really robots, they could steal a car (instead of the bread) and have an unrealistic car chase like most modern movies. Finally, add a couple toilet jokes and some bad acting.
Then it would be a piece of garbage like 98% of what comes out of Hollywood these days
Bub, there was a lot of garvage that came out back then, nowadays its just more televised. We have some superb films nowadays, and I feel the art can only get better. Movies like 12 Years a Slave and The Departed prove that cinema is in no way slowing down.
You almost need no imagination - just look in the street every day. You almost have to kick people's a***s before they find out you're there. They are busy checking out their Facbook, e-mail or Linkedin. But if you really need them one day and call them on the phone - they blood don't answer it!
