Good-looking film

I can't believe no one who has reviewed this film has noticed how pretty it is. Especially the dance sequences. It's not just Fred and Ginger or the choreography that makes them nice to look at-- the camera is practically dancing along with them.

Agreed. The entire film looks fantastic - in glorious black and white, no less.

Always has been one of my top favorite of Fred's movies.

I was watching it this morning on TCM. I LOVE this movie, to look at. It is very pretty, there are some beautiful sets and costumes. Not to mention dance numbers.

Yes, the sets by one Van Polglase were stunningly beautiful, as were Ginger's costumes as designed by Bernard Newman. The whole film is a feast for the senses of sight and sound, with plenty of top notch Irving Berlin numbers. The last dance, "Let's face the Music and Dance" is beautifully choreographed and ends with an elegant Art Deco pose by our duo. All quite breath-taking.
