Thanks Randy-144 for the song lyrics this was one of my favorite songs too .
I never tire of this song and only wished this song had been used in the movie end credits for
" American Werewolf in London " from 1981 .

One of the most underrated of the Universal horror classics IMO mainly due to the popularity of The Wolfman. Universals first werewolf entry predates Lon Chaney Jr's Wolfman by over 5 years. Always a fun watch said by a fan who's had to have watched it a dozen times by now!

Thanks so much jamesbwill for this movie announcement .
Also here is some interesting trivia from one of my old thread replies dated Saturday February 23rd 2013 :
*** SOME SPOILERS HERE *** ---- I noticed a very interesting scene from this movie that a clip of it was used in the 1985 movie " Fright Night " ( from on character Charley Brewster's TV set watching the intro to Peter Vincent's show which was a series of all different classic movie clips ) . It's the scene that I believe where the main female character is at a head shot & facial close-up outside and she is screaming in terror . For years when I watched the movie Fright Night I always wondered what movie that was from - now I know lol .
You are very welcome, ms-zanadu.
This is one of Universal's best horror movies.
Better get the ready.
Better get the ready.
When I was a junior in high school (a veerrryy long time ago...), Warren's song had just become popular. My best friend Tim and I were taking Biology class with Mr. Arrington as our mad scientist-type instructor. Tim was singing "Ahooo, Werewolves of London" under his breath. As he was looking around, Mr. A kept saying in this confused, mad-scientist voice, 'Who's doin' that Ahhooo'in?"
Sorry for the long-wided share but everytime I hear Warren's song and now with the title of this movie, I crack a little smile.
"Lord, we give you Curly. Try not to piss him off..."

I don't know whether you folks use archive.org. If you visit that site, you can listen to a lot of Zevon's concert performances https://archive.org/details/WarrenZevon.
There are a lot of old public domain movies and books on archive.org as well. It's a legal site.
I agree with ms-zanadu: I was surprised and disappointed when Zevon's song wasn't used for American Werewolf in London.
I'm going with popcorn and Red Vines tonight.
I like this movie too. It's hard for me to pick a favorite Wolf Man movie. I like Chaney's performance a lot. Overall, this is a better movie, IMO.
Happy New Year everyone. Let's hope Sven gets some new movies in 2016.
I'm going with popcorn and Red Vines tonight.
Just loved that " Knitted Sven Doll England Tour Skit " the only place they didn't visit was the HARRODS Store 🇬🇧 .
