Uncut version?

The running time for this film (uncut) is listed as being 94 mins, whereas the French DVD release, and PAL vhs versions I own are 86 min. An old NTSC vhs release (by TCM) from 1991 however, is the only full length version available. As I adore this underrated cult film (a rather unsuccessful hybrid of screwball farce and romantic melodrama, with lashings of Judith Butler!), I'm fascinated to know how the uncut version compares, and also which scenes have been cut/trimmed! Can anyone comment please?

It seems to me by the very rough editing that the scene in the caravan between Maudie and "Sylvester" has been cut. Right after S pushes M away and S is sitting on the bed, suddenly S is standing up and rushing from the caravan with no action between those two moments.

I am very disappointed that it's the cut version that appears on the Katharine Hepburn 100th Anniversary boxset. You'd think they could be respectful enough to release the film intact. :(
