Just Saw it on TCM
Pretty good movie about The Naval Academy and how it affects those who enter it.
Dick Powell was really believable in the starring role.
Really sweet story. I love how the song about shipmates standing together sort of ends up serving as Melville's conscience throughout the film.
Props to Ross Alexander with his very quirky, witty energy. Watching this, it's hard to believe how it ended for him. He left us far too soon.
