That big white bird is a Greater Sulfur Crested Cockatoo. Very rare nowadays in fact haven't seen one in "bird circles" in about 20 years.

I like them birds. They have an unusual way of bristling their crests. A good example of this is a scene from 'The Ladykillers' (1955). At least I believe it was an example of the Great Sulphur type in that film too.
