No, I think he does but they couldn't make it very obvious lest the movie not get the stamp of approval from the code.
He woke her up by blowing at her face and hair so that's what the 'bad boy' comment would seem to reference. However, their behavior, the playfulness and frolicking, nude swimming, and the way he carried her off the night before all would tend to point to, as the OP put it, a night of jungle sex in their treetop nest.
Certainly you don't think they spent all their time swinging through the trees.
The Code wasn't in enforcement when this movie was made.
But I really like the fact that the sex was all innuendo and off-screen, unlike the slobbering bodies of post-Code films.

While it's a very sexy scene, there was nothing blatant about it and the dialogue gave nothing away.

I think it's usually unnecessary and often, so much time is wasted on sex scenes, more important parts of the plot are neglected.
