where to watch this movie?

how can i get a copy of this movie? i already tried downloading it but many of these classics are not really easy to get off the net. will OFB be in most video stores?

reply

You may watch it for free (but not download it) at http://www.movieflix.com

It was on Turner Classic Movies recently.

I just watched it on TCM, the movie is great, but the image quality is poor. They showed "The Painted Veil" the other night, which were also shot in 1934, but had much better image quality. I guess RKO did a very bad job in reserving its early films.

I actually found it on DVD at the Dollar Store.

I'll drink to that.

Haha I found it on DVD on the dollar store as well!! ^^
I couldn't believe it...it came along with Jane Eyre!! xP

What a strong film....very true in all its senses!

Mine came with "Made for Each Other".

The first time I saw it, I cried. Then I read the book. Then I attempted to find a stage version so I could play Margaret.

I was a wee bit obsessed. Lol.

Isn't is divine? Jungle Red!

It's actually been up on YouTube for a really long time and doesn't look like it's about to go away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEj3X-c0SEQ

Paris is for lovers. Maybe that's why I stayed only 35 minutes.

To him mercy is passion With me it is good manners. You may judge which motive is more reliable

reply

You can buy it - to have it streamed to your computer with Amazon Instant Video (if you have an account with Amazon, it's easy to 'build a library' of owned films to watch whenever you want, via streaming). It costs $3.75 to own on your computer but you can also rent it for $1.99 (streamed).

That's cheaper than the $5.00 I paid for a DVD collection in the bargain bin at Walmart. However, that DVD collection was 15 films (Jane Eyre, The Last Time I Saw Paris, Snows of Kilimanjaro, Little Men, Tale of Two Cities, etc.)!

It's on UK TV BBC2 at the moment.
