I had to leave just as they were telling the judge they couldn't go back home. No jobs and family couldn't feed them- How did they end up?

The Judge dismissed the charges and helped them to get jobs so they could get money to go back home. He assured them that eventually their families would be ok. The future was promising to them. As they were driven away to help he looked at a picture of his young son showing that he had a feeling that but for the Grace of God there goes my young son. He was very compassionate.

Thanks for filling me in wt1471629. This is a great help. One thought, I wonder what the judge would have done if he knew they had killed "the rapist',Ward Bond, and were thieves, along with rioting against the police. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was a good movie. Esspecially for 1933.
