why does the T-rex sound like a hissing cat?!

i mean.. i've never actually heard a T-rex but that entire fight scene just makes your ears bleed.

Jurassic Park's Rexy had more of a solid scary roar.

Its a plot hole. According to records engraved in stone from the cavemen, a T Rex roar sounded very terrifying unlike what he heard in this movie

I mean, Dinosaurs were a fairly new concept in 1933 so I don't think that's a big deal.

it was annoying to listen to.

who knows? maybe they did sound like pissed off alley cats.
