Jerry Lewis?!
There are sections of this movie where he acts SO MUCH like Jerry Lewis (or does Jerry Lewis act like him). I got a real kick out of this.

I don't think he acts too much like him, but in full Hyde makeup, he LOOKS like Jerry Lewis. The hair is the clincher.
shareThis movie will be playing on TCM in April (24th I think; look at their online schedule) so I will watch it again. Now that I think about it, perhaps you are right. When I watch it I will be thinking of Jerry Lewis and probably get a big belly laugh :)

I don't doubt it. It sure made ME laugh.

I just noticed it last night when I watched it on Amazon! He does look like Jerry Lewis! He also looks like Benincio Del Toro.

Probably because Jerry Lewis saw it, and made his own Jekyll and Hyde movie: The Nutty Professor 1963. His first transformation is great and surreal, after that Jerry keeps on changing into a slick suave and bossy handsome barsnob!
shareI noticed it, too. Right after his transformation, and he looks in the mirror, his contortions reminded me of Jerry Lewis, and the teeth. Mr. Hyde's hair reminded me of Dr. Heckyll's, (Oliver Reed)though!

shareI saw this movie for the first time tonight on TCM. I immediately thought of Jerry Lewis when he made the change into Hyde. I guess great minds think alike(LOL). I also thought of the Nutty Professor when he changes into Buddy Love....great movie.
