6.9 on IMDB? What the .....!
The only thing I determined could be responsible for the low rating is that a lot of people are seeing third-rate copies from the public domain. This is like a 9 star film.
shareI think you could be right. I once attended a screening of this film, long ago, and the print so bad I gave up on it. The Criterion DVD (it's a double-feature with HIS GIRL FRIDAY) should improve the situation
I didn't know it was going to be released with His Girl Friday on Criterion. Thanks. Kino also has an excellent edition that they released during the last year.
