Obviously the Frankenstein monster is the most evil character in the Universal monster series. That scene where he threw the little girl in the lake confirms this. But after him, who is the next evil?
shareCalling him evil is questionable. Granted he did kill, but he could not help himself. The most evil character I can think of would be Dracula (played by Bella Lugosi, of course).
shareI would not call him evil either. His mind was not very developed and he thought the girl would float. Also that death with the girl would not have happened if Fritz hadn't gotten scared and tried to hurt him. That is what caused him to get let loose before Frankenstein could teach him how to live.

shareThe monster isn't really evil, he's just psychologically messed up and naive. I don't think Dracula is evil, either. Being made into a vampire, and centuries of being one have warped his mind. Also, he can't just buy cow blood from the local butcher. He has no choice but to drink from humans.
