horrible boring film

If you ever waste your time watching this clunker, check out the first scene where Ronald Coleman asks the doctor if he can skip through his studies and become his pupil because he wants to become a researcher. The whole scene is shot with Ronald's back to the camera. It is ridiculous and I couldn't believe it was John Ford who was directing. At the end the doctor goes over to open the blinds and you think perhaps they are going to show Ronald's face and it is revealed he is a woman or a disfigured man but no he cuts to the next scene where Ronald has become a doctor and trying to communicate with a mob of non English speakers at a poker game. I couldn't stand much more. Remember at the beginning of the Academy Awards, each studio would send the picture they wanted nominated. This should not have made the cut. Move on.
