I don't know how many of you were fooled by this "poster", but I certainly was.

The original photo of Conrad Veidt:

thats so funny i saw that because earlier tonight i was reading how bob kane and bill finger, the original creators of batman (and also Joker) used this picture from the film the man who laughs as their inspiration for the joker, nice find whoever came across this lol

reply

*beep* man! this guy would've been an excellent joker

reply

actually, Bob Kane, when he came up with Batman and the Joker, this movie WAS the inspiration for the Joker.

I was never a big fan of that fan-Joker, anyway. Didn't seem to fit Nolan's universe. Good Photoshopping, though, but I knew it was a fake from the start. Apparently Al Roker was fooled, though.

that supposed original is photoshoped aswell

I don't know what makes you think that, but it seems to me I've seen that publicity still around forever, certainly since long before Photoshop ever came out (or home computers, for that matter). It may have been cleaned up in Photoshop, though.
