How I would love to have David Lynch score this film

This film has some kind of Lynch feeling to it. I think his creepy sound would fit perfect to it.

Anyone else agree?

NO! Don't do anything to the phenomenal score that is in the DVD set!!

I totally agree!! I thought the score was amazing. I assume the version I saw on TCM this month 10/07 is the most recent. I watched it with the sound through my stereo (2.1 surround) and was blown away! The seperation was incredible, and the wide variety of instruments and styles fit the scenes perfectly. I loved the spanish guitar with finger clackers (not sure what they're called), every sound fit the action on the film and really enhanced the whole experience. I've heard some great new scores on silent films lately but this one really blew me away! No offence, I am a HUGE David Lynch fan and absolutely love his use of sounds and music in his films, but don't see how this score could be improved!

I really loved the score, also, but it would be interesting to see an alternate version with a Badalamenti (Lynch only composed the score for INLAND EMPIRE) score.
