I wondered while watching this if his people are ok with their Sheik being a white European, not even half Arab. Ok, he was adopted but then he marries an English woman. Another concession. But then their son marries another white woman of French extraction. Aren't the Arabic peasant tribal population extremely xenophobic of outsiders? Any type of tribe have a tribal mentality, and tribal mentality tends to be xenophobic. If white nations are xenophobic especially back then, what more people living in small close knit communities? It's different if one of them marries an outsider but their Sheik and his heir apparent (despite being raised as an Arab) are not Arabs but Europeans in the guise of one.
