They just mentioned Intolerance on AFI. It made number 49 on the list!

INTOLERANCE should have been on the list the first time.
Funny, that it replaced BIRTH OF A NATION, which was just about on that same spot a decade ago. While I have never seen BIRTH (and in truth, I really don't have the stomach to watch it, despite it's many great innovations it had for the art of motion pictures), I am glad INTOLERANCE is in. (And right above LOTR. I wouldn't be surprised if this will be the next movie, the truly die-hard LOTR fans will trash just because it is one spot ahead!).
