What the hell is a 'sun-play' supposed to be

"A Sun-Play of the Ages"...does anyone have any idea as to what this is supposed to mean?

According to an interview with Wolfgang "Billy" Bitzer,
the cinematographer, the film was entirely shot with
natural sunlight.

A feat pulled off due to the L.A. area being smog-free
at the time.

personally, I like the other title better, but I think it has something to do with the fact that most of the film wasn't shot in a studio as so many were.

what about the night battle scenes of Babylon? ..Karl Brown goes into great detail in an interview about how Bitzer set up thousands of tiny flares to light the scene.
