I know people who swear she had been pretty intelligent before starting her political career. They claim this is all just an act because she knows her audience.
I find this terrifying.
This is happening because for decades lefties encouraged their children to go into fields where they would be able to control the narrative. If non-leftists wish to make the field level again, they will have to encourage their children to do the same. It will take decades to correct the damage the left has done, but it can be accomplished.
