Winning this debate

Vance is winning this debate right now. Very sharp.

reply

He's not only winning it, he won it and made Walz look foolish when the Moderators asked him to be more specific in the amount of years he's been to China back and forth and what did he do?? Started in with the "Word Salad" that's worked for Harris, but not him.. As far as I'm concerned, if you honestly don't know who to vote for with the Election in 34 days, then you're a lost cause

reply

That answer that Walz gave about his China trip....wow. It was a long story that danced all around but blatantly avoided addressing the question. I think this was painfully obvious to people watching.

reply

not bad for a hillbilly.

reply

Walz planned his wedding day to coincide with the anniversary date of the protest in Tiananmen Square. That's not something a hack for Beijing would do. So he knows China? Nixon made a historic trip to China.

Holy crap! BKB and I agree on something...

Vance is a whiny little bitch who complained when the moderator told him he was a liar. :)

reply

When Trump picked Vance as his running mate that guaranteed Harris' win in November.

reply

Actually, VP's have little impact on the outcome except maybe to secure one state's electoral votes. Trump could win Ohio without Vance. But Harris should have chosen Josh Shapiro to secure Pennsylvania.

reply

Nailed it.

reply

Anyone who has listened to Vance speak should have known he would wipe the floor with Walz. He actually should be going for president instead of Trump - next time, hopefully.

reply

If stupid MAGAs picked a younger, smarter and educated candidate for president then they probably would have won in November. Now MAGA's are stuck with a dementia patient who is way too old to be president and convicted of 34 felonies. Good luck with that.

reply

I'm sorry, did you say something? Sounded like some kind of mechanized automaton sputtering out pre-programmed lines. Weird.

reply

So what part of my comment is not true? Instead of deflecting reply to my comment if you are able. I don't expect much from you

reply

Weren't you all onboard with Joe Biden running for president just a few months ago? You know, the candidate who is older than Trump and has been showing significantly more cognitive decline for years now?

Well, I guess all that got overwritten when you received your latest NPC update. What version are you on now, anyway?

reply

Biden is no longer running for president, genius. You are just upset because Biden outsmarted Trump and his band of barking seals by dropping out of the presidential race and nominating Harris. Too bad for you, Cupcake. Harris will destroy Trump in November and you know this.

reply

Were you not onboard with Joe Biden (the man who is older than Trump and has been showing significant cognitive decline for years now) running for president just a few months ago?

Can you acknowledge that this makes you a massive hypocrite, or are you just going to stupidly and ironically continue to deflect with more automaton-like responses?

reply

Things have changed so now I support Harris and Biden just doesn't matter anymore. If Trump is so wonderful as you claim then why are you so worried about Harris? You claim that Biden is too old and senile to be president so why aren't you holding Trump to the same standard? You are a hypocrite and very stupid.

reply

What changed? Oh that's right, you got your latest NPC update. Because before, Biden was as sharp as a tack and fully fit according to your previous programming.

And did you forget that I'm the one who literally said that Vance should be running, not Trump? The question you're asking me is the one you should be asking yourself; why you're now calling Trump too old and too senile when Biden was much worse in that regard and you had no issues with it (until you suddenly did).

So no, you're not going to acknowledge how this makes you a massive hypocrite, and are going to stupidly and ironically continue to deflect with more automaton-like responses. Thanks for clarifying.

reply

By the same token would the Democrats not have much better odds and be better off if they had chosen someone like Tulsi Gabbard? You would think so wouldn't you? It really doesn't make any sense to me that people like Biden and Harris are voted in and someone like Tulsi who's much more genuine, well intentioned and well spoken isn't. I'm thinking it has to do with who has the most money and lobbyists or whatever is the only explanation I can think of because they certainly aren't more authentic than Tulsi... or the other things I just said.

reply

She doesn't impress me. And since she went until last week without telling us she's bisexual, it makes me think she's trying to prove she ticks more boxes for those who need someone who's neither Democrat nor Republican to fill their cabinet.

reply

She's gay? I had no idea.

reply

Why would the Democrats pick Gabbard? She isn't a democrat.

reply

She was.

reply

I was really impressed by him. Most presidential politician i've heard since Obama. It really is a lost art.

reply

He should have called Walz on the lie about policemen being "beaten" during J6 and "dying" afterward. The Sicknick lie has already been debunked -- he was seen walking around healthy after he'd supposedly been beaten half to death -- and his family initially said he died of a stroke days afterward. So who are all those other policemen who supposedly were beaten to death?

reply

Yeah, IIRC, I think Walz actually said that several died as a result. It's amazing how this kind of myth has been allowed to go by unchecked by the media.

reply

Police were beaten by Trump's mob. Some did die afterwards. This was not a lie.

reply

The New York Times seems to agree with you.

reply

He pretty much drove off a cliff by lying about not supporting a national abortion ban, claiming the Trump administration would solve the housing crisis by seizing federal lands to build houses on (as if people trying to buy a home in Michigan want a home in Montana), refusing to say that Trump lost the 2020 election, and then complaining about being fact-checked. Among other things.

I mean, he lies very smoothly, if that is what you measure winning by.

reply

Well, if we're actually trying to house all the illegals that Biden/Harris are bringing in, parking them in Montana is a great idea. But I personally like the idea of those housing projects that Obama wanted built in upscale neighborhoods put in places like Georgetown and Martha's Vineyard. What was his motto? Oh, yeah: "Make it hurt."

Hillary is still saying she didn't lose her election. The Dems always want to contest elections, but we're supposed to forget about that. If Kamala loses, she'll want a recount. They always do. And the way elections are conducted in America, I don't blame them one bit.

I guess you didn't know that CBS had spent all of that day promising ever so faithfully that they wouldn't fact check anybody. If they'd decided to fact-check people, they should have also fact-checked Walz. I'd love to know the names of those police -- plural -- who were beaten then died later. Sicknick died of a stroke, so that death has already been debunked.

The folks who'd moseyed through the Capitol Building on J6 should have set it on fire. That way the media could have called it "mostly peaceful." [Whatever happened to that eye-rolling smiley?] And the left would have stopped talking about it already, just like the riots during "the summer of love." [Where's that little vomiting smiley?]

reply

You do realize that Trump wasn't impeached or indicted because he said the election was stolen, right? It is what he did to try to overturn am election that he knew was valid.

And CBS did fact check Walz on his statements about when he was in China and instead of whining about being asked about it he admitted his mistake. Something the Republican candidates seem incapable of doing.

In fact, Vance said it was okay for him to tell lies that were endangering the citizens of a town of it made a political point for him. That's despicable.
